Anti-ZNF230 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 555)

Supplier: Bioss

The RING-type zinc finger motif is present in a number of viral and eukaryotic proteins and is made of a conserved cysteine-rich domain that is able to bind two zinc atoms. Proteins that contain this conserved domain are generally involved in the ubiquitination pathway of protein degradation. RNF141 (ring finger protein 141), also known as ZFP26 or ZNF230, is a 230 amino acid protein that contains one RING-type zinc finger. Expressed as two isoforms (isoform 1 and isoform 2) due to alternative splicing events, RNF141 is thought to function as a transcription factor during spermatogenesis. While isoform 2 is expressed in brain, heart, pancreas, kidney and skeletal muscle, isoform 1 is expressed primarily in testis, suggesting that isoform 1 functions during spermatogenesis. In addition, RNF141 is not expressed in azoospermic (infertile) men, further implicating an important role for RNF141 in testis development and male fertility.

U2 auxiliary factor (U2AF), comprising a large and a small subunit, is a non-snRNP protein required for the binding of U2 snRNP to the pre-mRNA branch site. U2 (RNU2) small nuclear RNA auxiliary factor 1 (U2AF1,synonyms: RN, FP793, U2AF35, U2AFBP, RNU2AF1)is the small subunit which plays a critical role in both constitutive and enhancer-dependent RNA splicing by directly mediating interactions between the large subunit and proteins bound to the enhancers. The U2AF1 gene is localized to chromosome 21q22.3, which is the critical region for three diseases, progressive myoclonus epilepsy, autoimmune polyglandular disease type 1, and one form of bipolar affective disorder.

Anti-IL20 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-IL20 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

Interleukin-20 (IL-20) is a protein belonging to the IL-10 family of cytokines. IL-20 receptor (IL-20R) and IL-20 are expressed in several normal tissue types, including the lung, skin, and kidney. IL-20 is a cytokine structurally related to interleukin 10. IL-20 is produced by activated keratinocytes and monocytes and transmits an intracellular signal through two distinct cell-surface receptor complexes on keratinocytes and other epithelial cells. IL-20 can stimulate STAT3 activation in keratinocytes. IL-20 regulates proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes during inflammation, particularly inflammation associated with the skin. In addition, IL-20 also causes cell expansion of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells. IL-20 is highly associated with potent inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis, contact hypersensitivity, rheumatoid arthritis, and atherosclerosis.

Anti-LMNA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-LMNA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

Lamin A/C is also named as LMNA, FPL, LFP, EMD2, FPLD, HGPS, LDP1, LMN1. The lamin family of proteins make up the matrix and are highly conserved in evolution. During mitosis, the lamina matrix is reversibly disassembled as the lamin proteins are phosphorylated. Lamin proteins are thought to be involved in nuclear stability, chromatin structure and gene expression. The lack of lamin A/C can be as a novel marker for undifferentiated embryonic stem cells and lamin A/C expression is as an early indicator of differentiation. Mutations in this gene lead to several diseases: Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, familial partial lipodystrophy, limb girdle muscular dystrophy, dilated cardiomyopathy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, and Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome. This protein has 4 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular weight of 74 kDa, 65 kDa, 70 kDa and 64 kDa. This antibody can recognize 4 isoforms of Lamin A/C.

Anti-PSMD2 Goat Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Thermo Scientific

This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, mouse and rat based on sequence homology. The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered structure composed of 2 complexes, a 20S core and a 19S regulator. The 20S core is composed of 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits; 2 rings are composed of 7 alpha subunits and 2 rings are composed of 7 beta subunits. The 19S regulator is composed of a base, which contains 6 ATPase subunits and 2 non-ATPase subunits, and a lid, which contains up to 10 non-ATPase subunits. Proteasomes are distributed throughout eukaryotic cells at a high concentration and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent process in a non-lysosomal pathway. An essential function of a modified proteasome, the immunoproteasome, is the processing of class I MHC peptides. This gene encodes one of the non-ATPase subunits of the 19S regulator lid. In addition to participation in proteasome function, this subunit may also participate in the TNF signalling pathway since it interacts with the tumor necrosis factor type 1 receptor. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 1.

Anti-CX26 Goat Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Thermo Scientific

This antibody is predicted to react with human and rat based on sequence homology. This gene encodes a member of the gap junction protein family. The gap junctions were first characterized by electron microscopy as regionally specialized structures on plasma membranes of contacting adherent cells. These structures were shown to consist of cell-to-cell channels that facilitate the transfer of ions and small molecules between cells. The gap junction proteins, also known as connexins, purified from fractions of enriched gap junctions from different tissues differ. According to sequence similarities at the nucleotide and amino acid levels, the gap junction proteins are divided into two categories, alpha and beta. Mutations in this gene are responsible for as much as 50% of pre-lingual, recessive deafness.

This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the 11S regulator, one of the two 11S subunits that is induced by gamma-interferon. Three alpha and three beta subunits combine to form a heterohexameric ring. Two transcripts encoding different isoforms have been identified.

Anti-XBP1 Goat Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Thermo Scientific

This antibody is predicted to react with canine based on sequence homology. This gene encodes a transcription factor that regulates MHC class II genes by binding to a promoter element referred to as an X box. This gene product is a bZIP protein, which was also identified as a cellular transcription factor that binds to an enhancer in the promoter of the T cell leukemia virus type 1 promoter. It may increase expression of viral proteins by acting as the DNA binding partner of a viral transactivator. It has been found that upon accumulation of unfolded proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum , the mRNA of this gene is processed to an active form by an unconventional splicing mechanism that is mediated by the endonuclease inositol-requiring enzyme 1 . The resulting loss of 26 nt from the spliced mRNA causes a frame-shift and an isoform XBP1, which is the functionally active transcription factor. The isoform encoded by the unspliced mRNA, XBP1, is constitutively expressed, and thought to function as a negative feedback regulator of XBP1, which shuts off transcription of target genes during the recovery phase of ER stress. A pseudogene of XBP1 has been identified and localized to chromosome 5.
