Anti-FGF13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-FGF13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

FGF13 is probably involved in nervous system development and function. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. This gene is located to a region associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome (BFLS), a syndromal X-linked mental retardation, which suggests it may be a candidate gene for familial cases of the BFL syndrome. The function of this gene has not yet been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.

Anti-PTPN13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 350)

Supplier: Bioss

PTPN13 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP is a large protein that possesses a PTP domain at C-terminus, and multiple noncatalytic domains, which include a domain with similarity to band 4.1 superfamily of cytoskeletal associated proteins, a region consisting of five PDZ domains, and a leucine zipper motif. This PTP was found to interact with, and dephosphorylate Fas receptor, as well as I-kappa-B-alpha through the PDZ domains, which suggested its role in Fas mediated programmed cell death. This PTP was also shown to interact with GTPase-activating protein, and thus may function as a regulator of Rho signaling pathway.

Anti-TRIP13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-TRIP13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

The thyroid hormone (T3) receptors (TRs) are hormone-dependent transcription factors that regulate expression of a variety of specific target genes. TRIP13 specifically interacts with the ligand binding domain of the TRs. It is a member of Trips (TR-interacting proteins) family. Nearly all of the Trips also show similar ligand-dependent interaction with the retinoid X receptor (RXR), but none interact with the glucocorticoid receptor under any conditions. Trips predict specific functional roles: one is an apparent human homolog of a yeast transcriptional coactivator, one is a new member of a class of nonhistone chromosomal proteins, and one contains a conserved domain associated with ubiquitination of specific target proteins.

Human Recombinant APRIL (from Hi-5 Insect cells)

Supplier: Peprotech

APRIL, a member of the TNF superfamily, is expressed in monocytes, macrophages, certain transformed cell lines, certain cancers of the colon, and lymphoid tissues. APRIL, along with another TNF family member, BAFF, competes for two receptors, TACI and BCMA. APRIL has the ability to stimulate proliferation of various tumor cell lines, including Jurkat T cells and MCF-7 carcinoma cells. Like BAFF, APRIL also stimulates the proliferation of B and T cells. The human APRIL gene codes for at least four alternatively spliced transcriptional variants, which give rise to different isoforms of the APRIL precursor protein. All isoforms can be cleaved by the protease, furin, to release a soluble C-terminal fragment, which comprises the TNF-like receptor binding of the APRIL precursor. Recombinant Human APRIL is a soluble 16.3 kDa protein, consisting of 146 amino acid residues.

Anti-ESRRB Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ESRRB Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

Estrogen related receptor beta (ESRRB), a NR3 Steroid Receptor, has been shown to affect early placental development. Also it can act as a repressor of transcriptional activity mediated by the glucocorticoid receptor (GR). It binds as a monomer to the extended half-site TNAAGTGCA and as a homodimer to the estrogen response element (ERE), palindromic thyroid hormone response element (TRE(pal)), and SF-1 response element, but not to the glucocorticoid response element (GRE). Estrogen related receptor beta mutations lead to abnormal development of the chorion and defective diploid trophoblast proliferation, and are lethal during midgestation. Expression has been documented in mice in the extra embryonic ectoderm that gives rise to the chorion. ESTs have been isolated from normal human eye, lung, and testis libraries. The ligand for the receptor is PPARgamma coactivator 1 (PGC-1) beta.

Glycosylation of proteins affects cell-cell interaction, interactions with the matrix, and the functions of intracellular molecules. ST6GALNAC1 transfers a sialic acid, N-acetylneuraminic acid (NeuAc), in an alpha-2,6 linkage to O-linked GalNAc residues. The cancer-associated sialyl-Tn (sTn) antigen is formed by ST6GALNAC1-catalyzed sialylation of GalNAc residues on mucins.Glycosylation of proteins affects cell-cell interaction, interactions with the matrix, and the functions of intracellular molecules. Members of the protein-tyrosine phosphatase superfamilycooperate with protein kinases to regulate cell proliferation anddifferentiation. This superfamily is separated into two familiesbased on the substrate that is dephosphorylated. One family, thedual specificity phosphatases (DSPs) acts on both phosphotyrosineand phosphoserine/threonine residues. This gene encodes differentbut related DSP proteins through the use of non-overlapping openreading frames, alternate splicing, and presumed differenttranscription promoters. Expression of the distinct proteins fromthis gene has been found to be tissue specific and the proteins maybe involved in postnatal development of specific tissues. A proteinencoded by the upstream ORF was found in skeletal muscle, whereasthe encoded protein from the downstream ORF was found only intestis. In mouse, a similar pattern of expression was found.Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants were described, but the full-length sequence of only some were determined.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CCL13 displays chemotactic activity for monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils, but not neutrophils. This chemokine plays a role in accumulation of leukocytes during inflammation. It may also be involved in the recruitment of monocytes into the arterial wall during artherosclerosis. This gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Anti-PMAIP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-PMAIP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Noxa Antibody: Apoptosis is related to many diseases and development. The p53 tumor-suppressor protein induces apoptosis through transcriptional activation of several genes including p53R2, p53AIP1, and PUMA. A new p53 target gene, Noxa, was recently identified, which encodes a protein belonging to the subfamily of BH3-only proapoptic proteins. Noxa and PUMA are both transcriptional targets of p53 and BH3-only proteins. X-ray irradiation increased p53-dependent Noxa mRNA and protein levels. Noxa, when ectopically expressed, interacted with anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 family members, resulting in the activation of caspase-9. Noxa, like PUMA, localized to mitochondria and induces apoptosis in response to p53. Noxa and PUMA may represent direct mediators of p53-induced apoptosis. Increased levels of p53 and its target gene Noxa was found in the impaired tumor development.
