TIGAR Antibody: The p53 tumor-suppressor gene integrates numerous signals that control cell life and death; loss of its functions contributes to the development of most cancers. Recent studies have demonstrated the ability of p53 to regulate the expression of several proteins involved in glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation, such as TIGAR, SCO2, and phosphoglycerate mutase. TIGAR is a recently discovered protein that functions to regulate glycolysis and protect cells against oxidative stress. TIGAR is similar in structure to proteins in the phosphoglycerate mutase family, most notably 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase, suggesting TIGAR may function as a fructose bisphosphatase. Expression of TIGAR in transfected cells correlated with an inhibition of glycolysis and decreased levels of reactive oxygen species and p53-induced apoptosis, indicating that TIGAR may act to modulate the apoptotic response to p53, thereby allowing cells to survive mild or transient stresses.

ATG101 Antibody: Autophagy, the process of bulk degradation of cellular proteins through an autophagosomic-lysosomal pathway is important for normal growth control and may be defective in tumor cells. It is involved in the preservation of cellular nutrients under starvation conditions as well as the normal turnover of cytosolic components. This process is negatively regulated by TOR (Target of rapamycin) through phosphorylation of autophagy protein ATG1. ATG101 is a recently discovered protein that stabilizes ATG13, another autophagy protein that forms a complex with the mammalian homologs of ATG1, ULK1 and ULK2, and with FIP200. This complex is a target of TOR phosphorylation under normal conditions; inhibition of TOR by rapamycin or leucine deprivation leads to dephosphorylation of ATG13, ULK1 and ULK2, which then leads to autophagy. ATG101 also interacts with ULK1 and is essential for autophagy.

    Supplier: Prosci

ACADM Is the medium-chain specific (C4 to C12 straight chain) acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase. The homotetramer enzyme catalyzes the initial step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. Clinical phenotypes are associated with ACADM hereditary deficiency. This gene encodes the medium-chain specific (C4 to C12 straight chain) acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase. The homotetramer enzyme catalyzes the initial step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. Defects in this gene cause medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency, a disease characterized by hepatic dysfunction, fasting hypoglycemia, and encephalopathy, which can result in infantile death. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

    Anti-SOX12 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

    Anti-SOX12 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

    Supplier: Prosci

Members of the SOX family of transcription factors are characterized by the presence of a DNA-binding high mobility group (HMG) domain, homologous to the HMG box of sex-determining region Y (SRY). Forming a subgroup of the HMG domain superfamily, SOX proteins have been implicated in cell fate decisions in a diverse range of developmental processes. SOX transcription factors have diverse tissue-specific expression patterns during early development and have been proposed to act as target-specific transcription factors and/or as chromatin structure regulatory elements. The SOX12 gene encodes a protein that was identified as a SOX family member based on conserved domains and its expression in various tissues suggests a role in both differentiation and maintenance of several cell types.

    Anti-ZIP12 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

    Supplier: Prosci

ZIP12 Antibody: The zinc transporter ZIP12, also known as SLC39A12, is a member of a family of divalent ion transporters. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. The zinc transporter family is divided into four subfamilies (I, II, LIV-1 and gufA). ZIP12 is a multipass membrane protein that belongs to the ZIP transporter subfamily LIV-1. Increased levels of ZIP12 have been observed during acute inflammation in the airway and asthma, suggesting that it may be promote increased zinc uptake, as this can reduce inflammation. The zinc content in brains in individuals with schizophrenia is lower than in individuals with other cerebral diseases, and mutations in ZIP12 have been observed in a small group of schizophrenic patients, suggesting that ZIP12 may play a role in this disease.

    Anti-NLRP12 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

    Supplier: Bioss

May mediate activation of CASP1 via ASC and promote activation of NF-kappa-B via IKK.NALP proteins are cytoplasmic proteins that form a subfamily within the larger CATERPILLER family and are thought to play a crucial role in cell proliferation and reproduction. Like all other NALP family members, NALP12, also known as Monarch-1, has a C-terminal leucine-rich repeat (LRR) region, an N-terminal Pyrin domain (PYD) followed by a NACHT domain, and a NACHT-associated domain. NALP12 is thought to act as an attenuating factor of inflammation by suppressing inflammatory responses such as NF-kB activation by TLR-signaling molecules MyD88, IRAK-1, TRAF6 and RIPK1 in activated monocytes. Recent evidence suggests that mutations in NALP12 result in hereditary periodic fever syndromes.

    Anti-S100B Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

    Supplier: Genetex

This protein is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 genes include at least 13 members which are located as a cluster on chromosome 1q21; however, this gene is located at 21q22.3. This protein may function in Neurite extension, proliferation of melanoma cells, stimulation of Ca2+ fluxes, inhibition of PKC-mediated phosphorylation, astrocytosis and axonal proliferation, and inhibition of microtubule assembly. Chromosomal rearrangements and altered expression of this gene have been implicated in several neurological, neoplastic, and other types of diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, Down's syndrome, epilepsy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, melanoma, and type I diabetes.

    Human Recombinant CD19 (from Cells)

    Supplier: Prosci

CD19 is a single-pass type I membrane protein containing 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. CD19 is expressed on follicular dendritic cells and B cells. In fact, it is present on B cells from earliest recognizable B-lineage cells during development to B-cell blasts but is lost on maturation to plasma cells. CD19 primarily acts as a B cell co-receptor in conjunction with CD21 and CD81. Upon activation, the cytoplasmic tail of CD19 becomes phosphorylated, which leads to binding by Src-family kinases and recruitment of PI-3 kinase. CD19 Assembles with the antigen receptor of B lymphocytes in order to decrease the threshold for antigen receptor-dependent stimulation. Defects in CD19 are the cause of immunodeficiency common variable type 3 (CVID3) which is a primary immunodeficiency characterized by antibody deficiency, hypogammaglobulinemia, recurrent bacterial infections and an inability to mount an antibody response to antigen.
