Pleated Carbon-Impregnated Cartridges provide high dirt-loading capacities and extended life. Non-cellulose carbon-impregnated media resist bacterial attack and biofilm buildup — use it in non-chlorinated, well water, and post-reverse osmosis applications.
Cartridge features powder carbon to reduce chlorine taste/odor and to reduce sediment particles down to 10 µm. Chlorine reduction^‡‡ is approximately 1300 gallons at 1 GPM. Surface area is 4.5 sq ft. Maximum temperature is 150 °F (66 °C).

‡‡ Filtration efficiency and chlorine reduction efficiency are reduced at higher flow rates. Chlorine reduction based on at least 75% reduction using 2 ppm free chlorine feed level at 68 °F (20 °C).
