Many of TCUs, have external PT100 sensor capabilities. JULABO offers PT100 sensors in stainless steel and PTFE-coated options. PTFE coatings are used for corrosive conditions. Sensors with 12’ shielded cable and 4-pin LEMOSA connector. These sensors ensure your application reaches the desired set point with a JULABO circulator for direct control and monitoring from the external application.

When using a circulator for an external application the temperature of the application remains paramount. Many JULABO circulators incorporate a PT100 sensor port for use with an external PT100 sensor. This enables the circulator to monitor and control the temperature from the Pt100 sensor location. Simply install the sensor at the port on the circulator and adjust the settings to external temperature control. Applications benefitting from this approach include chemical reactors, fermenters/bioreactors, distillation apparatus, and more.

All sensors come with a 4-pin LEMOSA plug with shielded 12’ cable. Sensors are constructed of high-quality stainless steel or PTFE-coated stainless steel. PTFE-coated sensors are well suited for use in corrosive environments.

JULABO circulators with PT100 capability include: ME, HE, HL, SE, Sl, DYNEO DD, MAGIO MS, MAGIO MX, all PRESTO systems, CF31, CF41 and all Forte HT models.
