These microprocessor-controlled units feature a front-facing control panel with an easy-to-read LCD that displays temperature settings and intuitive icons.

Hot plates have a ceramic top plate, the reflective, white ceramic tops are chemical-resistant and easy to clean. Display will show last used settings, even after the power has been turned off. For additional safety, a large, hot symbol warning light is illuminated when the hot plate is in use, and remains lit until the top plate is below 40 °C. Enhanced software for heat monitoring with an early detection system utilizing two independent safety controls to continuously monitor the electronics and shuts off heating before an over temperature condition occurs.

Enhanced electronics regulate the robust heater, which brings samples to the desired temperature quickly and efficiently. The low-profile design utilizes minimal bench space and permits use within a fume hood. Unit housing is constructed of a heat and chemical-resistant polymer that remains cool to the touch during operation. The spill-resistant design channels fluids away from internal components in the event of spills. Optional in-use cover helps protect the control panel from splashes.

Off centered support rod holder accepts optional support rod kit or rods up to 13 mm (0.5") in diameter.

Units include a probe connection for the optional temperature probes. Temperature calibration feature ensures greater accuracy of the sample or top plate temperature.
