1. Hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of less than 3% can be poured down the drain.
2. Add the hydrogen peroxide to a large beaker and then dilute it with a fifteen-fold excess with water. Stir.
3. Pour the final solution down the drain with at least a 20-fold excess of water.
