Did you know that all powdered culture media contains bacteria that, although killed during the sterilization process, may show up as dead bacteria on your Gram stain? This is a possible cause of false positive reports. Hardy Diagnostics solves this problem by filtering its Thioglycollate before sterilization, leaving the medium clear, and clean, and free from dead bacteria!
