More compact and less expensive than purchasing multiple racks, their interchangeable, color-coded grids correspond to a specific test tube size ranging from 10 mm to 30 mm in diameter.

Each rack frame includes a set of grids in one size. Grid sets in alternate sizes can be purchased separately. Chemical resistant polyoxymethylene plastic rack frame and grids can be cleaned with mild detergent, ethanol, or isopropyl alcohol, and can be autoclaved at 121°C (250°F). Rubber feet keep racks from sliding on benchtop, and provide secure stacking while in storage.
