About this item

Type I borosilicate glass vials contain a chemical preservative to maintain sample integrity until volatile organic analysis can be performed.

  • Amber glass fabrication
  • Recommended for UV light-sensitive samples
  • Imbued with a chemical preservative

All vials are prepared in a solvent-free facility to prevent possible volatile contamination and are supplied with polypropylene open-top caps with ultrasonically bonded 3.1 mm fluoropolymer resin/silicone septa.

Vials include color-coded barcode with individual container number, preservative, and lot number indicating vial is free of VOCs and Tentatively Identified Compounds. Tare weighted vials include weighing data.

Note: Alternate preservative volumes may be substituted.

Certifications: Vials are Quality-Assured® (QA) and follow EPA cleaning procedures listed in the OSWER Directive 9240.0-05A 'Specifications and Guidance for Contaminant-Free Sample Containers'. A Certificate of Analysis is included in every case. Vials also include bar codes with lot number and individual container number for complete traceability. All cases are custody-sealed to ensure content integrity.
