The TPE soft collar design allows the pipettor's nose cone to seal almost with the weight of the pipettor itself. Reciprocal tip ejection forces are therefore minimized. As such, the OneTouch tip has unprecedented ergonomic advantages. Since the mount force is so incredibly minimized with the OneTouch tip, a rigid plastic rack is no longer required. Instead, OneTouch tips are provided in a paperboard rack.

Featuring a dual-shot tip design, these pipette tips combine virgin polypropylene and pliable TPE to provide a rigid and dependable tip with a soft, easy-to-seal, color-coded collar. The innovative design creates an ergonomic tip that can be used across a wide variety of pipettors. Tips are certified free of RNase and DNase, and are non-pyrogenic. OneTouch™ tips are available in traditional plastic racks, or edek™ paperboard racks that fit seamlessly into paper recycling programs. Manufactured from paperboard from sustainable forests, the edek racks are easy to recycle since they are compatible with most existing paperboard recycling programs. They also require minimal storage space- just flatten and recycle. Features also include soy or water based inks used for printing and less weight resulting in reduced energy consumption for shipping.
