- Autoclavable and leakproof
- Resists any acid, base, or solvent
- Withstand temperatures from –100 to 150 °C (–148 to 302 °F)
- Withstand upto 50000 ×g in refrigerated centrifuges
Excellent for lipid and phenol extractions, as well as biomolecular applications using nucleic acids, proteins, and more. Provide storage for expensive or aggressive samples. Before autoclaving, place closure on container without engaging threads.
Note: FEP centrifuge ware must be completely filled and refrigerated for centrifugation. Not to be used at room temperature.
Certifications: Meet OSHA Standard 29 Part 1910.1030 for use as protection against bloodborne pathogens.
Ordering information: Supplied with Tefzel® ETFE screw closures. NALGENE® sealing cap assemblies may be ordered separately. Nominal volumes correspond to rotor tube sizes; please refer to nominal volumes when ordering tubes to fit a rotor.
