Ideal for grinding connective tissue such as muscle, heart and lung.
- The coating is transparent, allowing an unobstructed view of the homogenate
- Clearance between pestles and tubes is 0.10 - 0.15 mm (0.004 to 0.006")
- Replacement components are available and completely interchangeable
- Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass
These grinders combine both conical and cylindrical surfaces to effectively reduce tissue and produce a uniform homogenate. The plastic safety coating on tube will contain the homogenate if the tube breaks or cracks during motor-driven homogenization.
Similar to 885450 series but with plastic safety coating.
Certifications: Borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
