PolarSafe™ cryo/freezer boxes and dividers are made of sturdy white cardboard, with a moisture-repellent outer coating to protect from the effects of liquid nitrogen or condensation from refrigerated equipment

The 81 and 100 place boxes have a moisture repellent lining on the inside of the box as well as on the dividers. In addition, both boxes have been printed with a unique numerical grid to keep your samples organized.

Two specialty boxes for PCR are available. The first is 5 x 5 x 1 and will accommodate a 196 place cardboard divider. The 1" height prevents the tubes from dropping down into the box. The second is a 64 place PCR box that will hold 8 PCR strips. This can also be used as a PCR rack to transport tubes to the Thermocycler.

The colored boxes are available in 5 bright colors. The color is only located around the outer sides of the boxes leaving the top white for labeling or for the researchers identification.

Boxes are sized to fit all standard stainless-steel and polycarbonate storage systems. Small holes on the bottom allow for safe drainage of liquid nitrogen or water. For use in mechanical freezers and liquid nitrogen tanks at temperature to -196°C.
