- Made of PYREX® borosilicate glass
Also suitable for high temperatures, in which case it is advisable to heat in an electric furnace. In order to avoid strain, crucible should not be removed from furnace until the temperature has dropped to 250 °C (482 °F). Limit of use, 500 °C (932 °F).
