About this item

For use with all CentriVap® centrifugal concentration systems, except DNA system.

CentriZap® strobe light enables user to shine a strobe light into the chamber to easily view samples while the rotor is spinning. Samples appear to be standing still. Includes a holster bracket (with mounting hardware) that attaches to the right side of the unit. Glass lid provides additional protection from solvents and corrosives that attack acrylic. Vacuum controller provides manual control and monitoring of vacuum levels. Analog gauge shows vacuum from 0–762 mm Hg (0–30" Hg). Three-way valve is polypropylene and has an O.D. of 1.3 cm (½"). Bleed valve bleeds vacuum manually when using cold trap with other laboratory equipment. Vacuum tubing kit includes two 1.3 cm (½") I.D. vacuum tubing pieces, 121.9 cm (48") in length, and four tubing clamps. Two-port manifold allows freeze drying of small volume samples in freeze dry flasks, serum bottles, or ampules using a CentriVap® system. Glass trap insert protects cold trap reservoir and lid from corrosives. Clear polypropylene canister with mounting bracket attaches to the side of the cold trap. Includes 43.2 cm (17") PVC tubing and two clamps. Canister with stand recommended when more than one chemical trap is required.

Accessory rotors are constructed of anodized aluminum and hold tubes at an angle to maximize surface area. Rotors are available standard, or with a fluoropolymer resin coating that ensures resistance to acids. The 12–13 mm rotor holds a maximum of 148 tubes: (40) 1.5 to 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes and up to (108) 12 to 13 mm tubes. The 12 to 17 mm rotor holds a maximum of 76 tubes: up to (52) 12 to 13 mm tubes and up to (24) 16 to 17 mm tubes. The 28 mm rotor holds 44 tubes: (32) 1.5 to 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes and (12) 28 mm tubes. Hexagonal rotor holds (132) 1.5 to 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes. The DNA rotor holds a maximum of 132 tubes: up to (72) 0.5 ml and up to (60) 1.5 to 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes. Microtiter plate rotor holds four standard or two deep well plates. The High Capacity Micro Rotor holds up to 148 micro centrifuge tubes, 1.5 or 2.0 ml, and micro auto sample vials approx. 12 mm in dia. ×35 mm. The High Capacity Micro Rotor doesn't require a lip on the tube and is perfect for vials.
