Microplates are manufactured from virgin polystyrene resin and are designed to meet industry standard dimension specifications to facilitate compatibility with microplate handling and robotics.

All plates feature a flat bottom and a rounded square top (square with round corners) designed to minimize wicking and reduce air bubble formation, while increasing volume capacity and surface area

Plates are free of detectable RNase, DNase, human DNA, and pyrogens. All plates have a footprint conforming to the ANSI/SBS 1-2004 Standard.

White LUMITRAC™ plates are for luminescence assays and black FLUOTRAC™ plates are for fluorescence assays. Clear-bottom plates are manufactured with µClear™ mircro-thin polystyrene film, and are suggested for assays designed for luminescence and fluorescence detection in which imaging from the bottom is required. Plates are stackable and supplied without lids.
