All stopwatches feature interval split, cumulative split, single action timing, time-out/time-in, continuous roll-over timing, and countdown alarm timing. Model 62379-207 has dual display that shows cumulative and interval splits and eight recallable memories; countdown timing function can be set to repeat on automatic cycles. Models 62379-229 and 62379-230 have decimal timing (99999.99 seconds, 999.999 minutes, 9.99999 hours), triple display, 500 recallable memories (including fastest, slowest, and average lap time), date display, pacer, and stroke measurement functions.

Stopwatches can be carried in hand or coat pocket, or worn around neck. Watertight construction gives positive protection against lab spills, even accidental submersion. Quartz-crystal design provides 100 times greater accuracy than mechanical watches.
