The Multiple Sample Starter Set accessory includes a 15.2 cm (6") platform with one 60-microtube insert for 0.5–2.0 mL tubes and one microplate insert. The Large Sample Set accessory includes a recessed platform and two elastic bands for securing large flasks and beakers up to 500 mL. Also includes one foam insert each for 9–16 mm test tubes, 16–29 mm test tubes, 29–37 mm test tubes, and one customizable blank foam insert. The Two-Tier Insert for Microplate accessory fits into the 15.2 cm (6") Platform Head Only.

Select touch-on or continuous operation. The timed Vortex Genie 2T mixer includes a timer function in either continuous untimed, touch, or hands-free mode. Touch mode: 1–60 seconds. Hands-free mode: 1–60 minutes. The Digital Vortex Genie 2 mixer is ideal for applications that require vortexing/shaking of various types/sizes of tubes, vials, bottles, or plates, includes digital control and display of speed, time, accuracy, reproducibility, and repeatability. Touch mode: 1–99 seconds. Hands-free mode: 1–99 minutes. All models are built of a solid 4 kg (8.8 lbs.) cast-metal base with rubber feet that prevent “walking.”
