Spin-X® centrifuge tube filters use centrifugation to remove bacteria, particles, or cells from liquids, HPLC sample preparation and DNA removal from agarose or acrylamide gels.
- Cellulose acetate (CA) membranes provide fast flow rates and low protein binding
- Sterile and nonpyrogenic and DNase-/RNase-free
- Maximum relative centrifugal force is 16000×g
Units consist of a membrane-containing insert and a polypropylene centrifuge tube. Choose the cellulose acetate membrane insert for aqueous solutions or the nylon membrane insert for HPLC applications. Both membranes are available in 0.22 and 0.45 µm pore sizes.
