The non-packed Michel-Miller chromatography starter kit System has been designed for high performance, low pressure liquid chromatography (HPLPC) in preparative applications.

Designed and tested by Karl H. Michel and Robert F. Miller at The Lilly Research Laboratories, Indianapolis, IN, this simple-to-assemble kit is constructed of borosilicate glass and PTFE (no O-rings). It is safe to operate, with safety shield, at pressures up to 300 psi, and it is useable with various packing materials. It is chemically inert, features zero dead volume, and is leak-free.

This system provides the chromatographer with a complete concept of high performance liquid chromatography for use at low (0 to 100 psi) and moderate (100 to 300 psi) pressures.
