MediaKap® filters are designed to sterilize and clarify culture medium or buffer solution via a 0.2 µm DynaFibre® membrane.

MediaKap Plus® filters utilize an advanced DynaFibre® membrane that further increases filtration efficiency and dramatically reduces the time required to filter serum-enriched medium. Both filter styles can be operated by gravity or under pressure by a peristaltic pump or pressure vessel. Filters are available in five different sizes, all of which filter the designated volume in 15 to 20 minutes. All filters are supplied sterile, and each size is available with the option of a filling bell that protects the sterile filling environment and reduces the risk of contamination.
