Shallow-form Dewars permit cooling operations not practical with standard cylindrical or spherical Dewars
Available with hemispherical or flat bottom interiors in protective aluminum base.
These vacuum bottles are made of borosilicate glass.
Applications include rapid freezing and recovery of tissue/organ specimens, insertion of small flasks, agitation in flask with magnetic stirrer, mixing and tamping with stirring rods or pestles. Cooling range is from dry ice/acetone to liquid nitrogen (LN2). Manufactured for use with liquid nitrogen and ideal for use with liquid gases.
