About this item
Dispensers feature a ceramic plunger that is made of solid, 99.7% pure aluminum oxide, which guarantees the highest degree of chemical resistance, without abrasion or swelling.
The cylinder is made of calibrated DURAN® (borosilicate 3.3) glass and is, like the valves, predominantly inert and wear-free. The ball and seat are made of 3.3 borosilicate glass, the valve springs are made of Hastelloy® material, the valve block and housing are made of ECTFE (ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene) copolymer, and the suction and dispensing tubes are made of FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene). The robust suction tube is tightly screwed to the device, which prevents air bubbles from forming during suction.

The ceramus HF unit (83007-658) is specifically designed for dispensing hydrofluoric acid and other problematic media. This unit features ceramic components instead of glass.
A reagent recirculation system ensures quick, simple priming and prevents reagent waste. Units feature a Luer-lock connection for a filter or dry tube; a strong, stable discharge tube with cap; a protective housing; a plunger handle with ergonomic grip; and 360° rotation so that labels or lettering on the bottle can be turned to always face the user. The complete device can be autoclaved at 121°C (250°F). All parts can be easily disassembled.
