About this item

Human Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP ELISA kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cross Linked C-terminal telopeptide of Collagen alpha-1(I) Chain/ICTP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids.

  • Ready To Use ELISA kit

  • Sensitivity: 46.875 pg/ml
  • Sample Type: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids
  • Assay Precision: Intra - Assay: CV <8%, Inter - Assay: CV <10%

Human Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP ELISA kit (A78277) employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative measurement of human Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. The standards and test samples are added into the wells and the Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation, the wells are washed and then incubated with Biotinylated Anti-Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP Antibody, which binds the captured Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP present in each well. Following incubation, unbound biotinylated detection antibody is removed by washing, and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added to the wells and the microtiter plate is incubated. Following incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is then used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction by catalysis to produce a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP captured in each well. The concentration of Cross Linked C-terminal Telopeptide of Type I Collagen/ICTP can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

Ordering information: This is a ready to use ELISA kit that contains: Pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, sample dilution buffer, biotinylated detection antibody (100X), antibody dilution buffer, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) (100X), SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealers, foil pouch, and protocol manual.
