About this item
The TGC-10 is a cell where all components of the cell that contacts the sample are made from PTFE. This is helpful for any sample that could corrode or be corroded by optical glass, Fused silica or stainless steel. This type of cell is most helpful in qualitative analysis applications where one or more gasses are present in concentrations of more than 5%.
- Gas cell is constructed in PTFE
- O-rings are used each end to seal windows with anodized aluminum caps
- Two PFA valves are connected to body of gas cell
- Window size 38 Ø × 6 mm, clear aperture 25 mm diameter
- Volume: 50 cc
- Valve outlet connection 6.35 mm (¼" )
This cell can be used in high pressure and temperature applications where glass/quartz spectroscopy samples are impractical.
This assembly can be fitted with Firebird Optics high grade optical windows and snapped into any commercial FTIR spectrophotometer.
Two 6.35 mm (¼" ) PTFE tubes with rifle ends are supplied for connecting with laboratory tubing. Slide plate holder with captive screw to lock gas cell on holder.
Gas cell is supplied with slide plate holder in presentation case. Cell is rated for 21 ℃ (70 ℉) and 60 psi (41 bar).
