About this item
O-rings for routine maintenance of the current Mark seven or earlier Mark VI flame atomization system.
- Regular inspection of the O-rings in the flame atomization system is recommended
- O-rings should be replaced if they are perished, show excessive wear or have any nicks or cuts on the surface
- The regular black O-rings are suitable for use with aqueous solutuions, including acid digests
- For compatibility with organic solvents, perfluoroelastomer (white) O-rings should be fitted.
- The perfluoroelastomer O-rings are suitable for use with both aqueous and organic solutions.
A number of O-rings are used throughout the current Agilent Mark seven flame atomization system, and the earlier Agilent Mark VI flame atomization system, including on nebulizer components, the spray chamber and the burner. Regular inspection of the O-rings is recommended, especially when completing routine maintenance on the flame atomization system. O-rings should be replaced if they are perished, show excessive wear or have any nicks or cuts on the surface.
The regular black O-rings are suitable for use with aqueous solutions, including acid digests. For compatibility with organic solvents, perfluoroelastomer (white) O-rings should be fitted. The perfluoroelastomer O-rings are suitable for use with both aqueous and organic solutions.
