About this item
The Epredia™ Cal-Rite Decalcifing/Fixative Solution is a mixature of formic acid and formaldehyde which permits simultaneous decalcification and fixation.
- Eliminates poor hematoxylin and eosin staining caused by over decalcification and /or exposure to harsh mineral acids.
- Conventional iron staining is not hampered by Cal-Rite.
- Prolonged exposure to Cal-Rite does not distort nuclear chromatin staining
