The advanced combination of natural refrigerants, a high performance inverter compressor, integrated electronic controls and a space-saving cabinet design are engineered for enhanced security and dependability. The upright Biomedical ECO freezers 76383-292 and 76383-296 have two autonomous chambers that can be independently programmed and defrosted for multiple user convenience. Each chamber includes three wire shelves, two adjustable and one fixed. Optional open top bins can be added to hold common 2" or 3" freezer boxes, as well as miscellaneous packaging.

The microprocessor-based temperature control system with LED display maintains accurate setpoint temperature to within 1°C over a range of –20 to –40 °C for 76383-292, and over a range of –20 to –30 °C for 76383-294/76383-296. Temperature display for each independently controlled chamber can be shown simultaneously or individually. Audible and flashing visual alarm lights supplement the setpoint deviation system to warn of parameter violations and loss of power.

The single door Biomedical ECO freezer (76383-294) creates a stable temperature storage environment. This space-saving design allows more installation options in crowded laboratories or warm hallways. A standard door latch lock adds security and an optional padlock can be installed to expand the envelope of protection. Protection and safety features include heavy duty, door-mount sealing gaskets to eliminate cold air loss. High and low temperature deviation alarms warn of temperature setpoint.

The freeezer (76383-296) has refrigeration systems and a variable speed inverter compressor that respond to demands for cooling based on temperature setpoint, frequency of door openings, ambient temperature in the location and heat intrusion through the composite insulated walls.
