Multi-Element Lumina hollow cathode lamp (HCL) for the detection of elemental Aluminum (Al), Calcium (Ca), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Silicon (Si), and Zinc (Zn). Series N30502XX Lumina™ 2" (50 mm) diameter multi-element lamps are designed to be used with PerkinElmer PinAAcle™ and AAnalyst™ Atomic Absorption (AA) spectrometer series of instruments.

  • Multi-element lamps are not designed to be used in a furnace system
  • The analysis of Aluminum and Silicon require the use of a nitrous oxide-acetylene flame
  • Lumina™ Hollow Cathode Lamps may also be used with all earlier AA spectrometers that do not have automatic code reading capability by using an appropriate adapter cable

Every genuine PerkinElmer lamp is designed for use with and tested on spectrometers to assure compatibility and high level performance. PerkinElmer offers a wide range of single-element and multi-element HCLs, which are ideal for determining most elements by atomic absorption spectroscopy. To prolong the life of a Lumina™ Hollow Cathode Lamp (HCL), they are produced with larger internal volume, providing a greater supply of fill gas at optimum pressure. The larger the lamp, the greater the inert gas volume, and the longer the lamp lifetime.
