About this item
A small, cube-shaped device containing a heating band, fastening loop, and thermal sensor that is designed to attach to a microscope objective to prevent heat loss from the specimen when using high numeric aperture lenses.
- Safely and precisely warms objectives
- Includes a temperature sensor probe to ensure proper specimen temperature
- Highly efficient thermal transfer consumes less power and eliminates radiation of excess heat
- Secondary retainer loop for extra support
- Low profile design for ease of use
- Removable power cord to facilitate nose piece rotation
- Easily and securely mounts to objective
The Objective Heater® Controller safely and precisely warms objectives. The controller features safety circuitry to protect objectives from overheating, and is supplied with a calibration test.
Available in four sizes, each unit includes cord and plug. The small unit fits 14–22mm diameter objectives, the standard unit fits 19 to 27mm diameter objectives, the medium unit fits 23–33mm diameter objectives, and the large unit fits 30 to 37mm diameter objectives. All units require the use of the Objective Heater® Controller, which maintains support to the heating units.
