ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments showed a 100 kDa band but also bands at approximately 35 kDa and 26-28 kDa in human ovary, placenta, prostate and testis lysates after 0.1 ?g/mL antibody staining. All detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands).
HIWI antibody is supplied in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3 with 0.5% BSA.
