CCL13 displays chemotactic activity for monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils, but not neutrophils. This chemokine plays a role in accumulation of leukocytes during inflammation. It may also be involved in the recruitment of monocytes into the arterial wall during artherosclerosis.This gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. CCL13 antibody can be used for detection of CCL13 by ELISA at 1:312500. CCL13 antibody can be used for detection of CCL13 by western blot at 0.25 ?g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
