The encoded protein may play a role in single-stranded DNA repair. Mutations in this gene have been associated with ataxia-ocular apraxia. APTX antibody can be used for detection of APTX by ELISA at 1:1562500. APTX antibody can be used for detection of APTX by western blot at 2.5 ?g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
