SLC27A4 is involved in translocation of long-chain fatty acids (LFCA) across the plasma membrane. It appears to be the principal fatty acid transporter in small intestinal enterocytes. SLC27A4 plays a role in the formation of the epidermal barrier. It is required for fat absorption in early embryogenesis. SLC27A4 has acyl-CoA ligase activity for long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids.
SLC27A4 antibody can be used for detection of SLC27A4 by ELISA at 1:312500. SLC27A4 antibody can be used for detection of SLC27A4 by western blot at 1 ?g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Antibody is purified by peptide affinity chromatography method.
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 ?L of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
