Erlab’s CaptairBio PCR Workstations are designed to protect sensitive biological applications against both environmental pollution and cross-contamination. The HEPA filter will bring clean air down to the work surface, with high efficiency UV lights to decontaminate the worktop from biological cross-contamination.

Standard equipment includes a unique fan design to deliver an even airflow to eliminate turbulence. UV lamp with reflective panels provide decontamination and easy visibility within the enclosure. Stainless Steel 304 work surface, HEPA H14 filter, and energy efficient internal lighting. Digital control panel for continuous monitoring of the ventilation flow rate and audible alarm. UV cut-off automatically shuts off the UV lamp when the front shield is opened. UV timer from 5 to 30 minutes. Rear panel ports. Enclosure is made with synthetic glass (10mm thick) designed to protect the user from harmful UV rays.

• Smart-Light is a light signature across the front panel which casts a stable LED glow ensuring proper operation

If normal operation is disrupted, the reassuring LED light pulses and sounds, drawing the attention of the operator only when necessary for the following:
2 beeps- Sash open with UV light on
3 beeps- Air Face Velocity is compromised; check sash, pre-filter, or HEPA/ULPA filter
4 beeps- Fan Failure
