To fit in a wide range of applications, the new Nalgene® Pharma-Grade Platinum-cured silicone tubing can be sterilized by most methods, including autoclaving, gamma-irradiation, and EtO.
Certifications: The following tests were performed on the final extruded product: USP 87, USP 88, ISO10993-3, and ISO10933-4.
Tubing is manufactured, double-bagged, and sealed in an ISO Class 7 clean room. It meets EP 3.1.9 silicone elastomer for closures and tubing and USP 661 Physlochemical tests. A validation binder is available with test reports on the final extruded product that was irradiated and autoclaved to mimic real-use conditions.
