About this item

The Slide-A-Lyzer® MINI Dialysis Device Floats are low-density polyethylene rafts designed to securely hold up to 25 Slide-A-Lyzer® MINI Dialysis Devices to permit array dialysis.

  • LDPE construction
  • Floating design
  • Not suitable for use at temperatures above 50 °C (122 °F)

Slide-A-Lyzer® MINI Dialysis Device Floats feature labeled rows (A to E) and columns (1 to 5) for easy tracking of individual samples. These floats are intended to hold Slide-A-Lyzer® MINI Dialysis Devices (0.1 ml size only), whose bottom surfaces are a dialysis interface composed of a cellulose membrane barrier. The float holds the devices so that the bottoms contact the solution in which they are floated for dialysis. Although the floats can be used as water bath floats for microcentrifuge tubes.
