It runs up to 24 x 5/7mL blood or urine tubes at a time in swinging bucket configuration. The unit fits in to research applications as well, including cellular biology, microbiology, genomics/molecular biology, proteomics, biochemistry, and pharmaceutical studies. It runs up 8 x 50 mL swinging bucket rotor capacity, 4 microplates, or 30 filtration columns.

Additional features on this centrifuge include a quiet performance (<61 dBA ventilated and <52 dBA refrigerated), one-touch operation with pre-saved protocols and password protection, and a highly visible backlit display. All units are glove- and detergent-friendly.
