Human TNF alpha ELISA kit is a 90 minutes sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TNF alpha in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.

  • Higher throughput: Get results in just 90 minutes, with a single wash step
  • Detection range: 0,3 to 4,8 µg/ml
  • Sensitivity: 0,01 µg/ml
  • Sample type: Serum, plasma or other biological fluids
  • Assay precision: Intra assay: CV <8%, Inter assay: CV <10%

Human TNF alpha ELISA kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative measurement of human TNF alpha in An antibody specific for TNF alpha has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. The standards and test samples are added into the wells and the TNF alpha present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilised antibody. Biotinylated Anti-TNF alpha antibody, which also binds the TNF alpha present in each sample, and Streptavidin-HRP, which binds the Biotinylated Anti-TNF alpha antibody, are added and the microtiter plate is incubated. Following incubation, unbound Biotinylated Anti-TNF alpha antibody and unbound Streptavidin-HRP are removed by washing, and two substrate solutions are added to the wells. colour develops in proportion to the amount of TNF alpha captured in each well. The colour development is stopped by addition of stop solution which changes the colour from blue to yellow and the intensity of the colour is then measured. The concentration of TNF alpha in the samples can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

: This is a ready to use ELISA kit that contains: Pre-coated 96 well microplate, standard solution, standard diluent, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer (25X), substrate solution A, substrate solution B, stop solution, plate sealers, foil pouch, and protocol manual.
