Human Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI ELISA kit is a 90 minute sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
- Higher throughput: Get results in just 90 minutes, with a single wash step
- Assay precision: Intra assay: CV <8%, Inter assay: CV <10%
Human Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI ELISA kit (A310087) employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative measurement of human Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. The standards and test samples are added into the wells and the Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilised antibody. Biotinylated anti-Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI antibody, which also binds the Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI present in each sample, and Streptavidin-HRP, which binds the Biotinylated anti-Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI antibody, are added and the microtiter plate is incubated. Following incubation, unbound Biotinylated anti-Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI antibody and unbound Streptavidin-HRP are removed by washing, and two substrate solutions are added to the wells. colour develops in proportion to the amount of Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI captured in each well. The colour development is stopped by addition of stop solution which changes the colour from blue to yellow and the intensity of the colour is then measured. The concentration of Apolipoprotein CI/Apo-CI in the samples can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.
